Today I attended the seminar that Cal Ritter presented for those of us that are contemplating our senior years.  Great job, Call, and thanks so much for sharing your great expertise.  If you are reaching those golden years and find medicare/medicaid confusing, Call will be having another seminar in the near future...don't miss it.

Hey [classs of 79] , How are you all doing. i'm doing fine. I'm still at pinnicleHealth , going on my 20th yr. i'm a logistic supply chain specialist. i do really like it. On a sad note, on july 11, 2008, my good friend and long time girlfriend left this world. Barbara J VIA ,died in hbg hospital of cancer. i was by her side ,holding her hand and stroking her hair with my fingers when she took her last breath @ 830 that eve. i'm so glad that she went quick, that she didn't linger on and on .She will be greatly missed, especially me. i will miss her smile , her laugh, she was a great person to be with. In 1986, i got down on one knee and asked her to be my wife. we set the date for july 16, 1987.But with family problems it did not happen . But we still loved each other and still stayed friends till the end. The wierd thing is on july16, 2008, i went to her funeral. instead of celebrating our aniversary. i just read what she wrote on here. i did not know that she was on this site. She loved all of you [class of 79] she loved coming to the reuions ,and seeing everyone. she was looking forword to be at the 30th .[wow, 30 where did the yr's go ] well ,  she will be missed alot.  i 'm still single, living in uptown hbg, right down from polyclinic. been there since 91. i really like it, exept when the river decides to rise.LOL . So if any of my class mates are on here , stop and say hi. It would be nice to get in touch with you all . In the meantime, you guys take care and see ya at the 30 yr reuion picinic.  Keith R Timothy  [Class of 1979]

I moved to Tucson in Oct 1981 with Ibm and when they kicked about 1,000 of us out on thier fiest Layoff I went into Painting for myself for about 2 years then the local School in Vail for another 2 years and a Blood Shaker Mfg. for 4 more years and then 9 years at Raytheon Missle Mfg. until I retired with my Wife on the same day June 27th 2008. Looking to contact some old classmates being so far from Hbg. If anyone knows where Jim Gellispie around 60,61 let me know.

Hello To Everyone, I thought I would give an update to my family info.  Our oldest son SMSgt (E-8) James G. Strong who was stationed at Yokota AB, Japan as the lst Sgt of the 36th Airlift Sq passed away of a heart attack on Nov 14, 2008.  His widow and children are now living here in Jefferson so we could be of help to them.  We were very proud of him and shall miss him greatly. All The Best, Jim Strong (Class of 1958)

All 1982 Grads:  OK, so we have made our statement: we don't like reunions.  But we ALL are getting older and I want to see my classmates!  Let's get something going in the way of a party or picnic or whatever.  Please respond if interested -  especially, Greenawald, Thompson, Chung, Coyle, Leonzo, etc., etc .
