Mitchell J. Shuller, Class of 2004, age 35, of West Hanover Township, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
Born on September 28, 1985 in Cleveland, TN to James R. and Barbara (Vaughn) Shuller.  Mitchell was a member of the Carpenter’s Union, Local #431.  He attended LifePoint Church of West Hanover Township, enjoyed woodworking, construction and building things.
Mitchell’s pride and joy were his 3 daughters, anyone who knew him knows how proud he was of them and how happy they made him.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brianne N. (Judd) Shuller, 3 daughters, Alexis N. Shuller, Kyleigh M. Shuller, Elise N. Shuller, a sister, Tiffany M. Gsell of Harrisburg, grandparents, Annette Vaughn, Jack & Donna McCall, 3 nephews, Chase, Cole, and Crue, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael Thomas McHugh, Class of 1978, age 61, of Harrisburg entered into the arms of God on Saturday, July 17, 2021. He was born in Palmerton on January 16, 1960, and lived in Jim Thorpe before moving to Harrisburg in 1966. He is the son of the late James and Rosalie (McElmoyle) McHugh. Mike is a graduate of Central Dauphin High School Class of 1978. He worked for the local cable companies for 38 years and retired in 2017. Mike is survived by his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Lori (Imbrognio) McHugh and recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on May 2. Mike was a loving and devoted father to his children Zachary McHugh (Abbey) and Kylee Hissner (Kyle) and an expecting grandson, Leo. Mike was also survived by his brothers; James (Becky), Patrick (Darlene), Terry, his sister, Peggy Kline (Kent), nine nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his brother Joseph McHugh and most recently, his grandson Camden James McHugh. Mike was an avid sports fan and had a passion for the game of baseball. He coached Little League at PHR and Paxton teener baseball. Mike held the Office of Vice President and President of the PHR baseball Association for many years. His love of the game took him to many outings at Camden Yards with his family and numerous Senator's games with his Legion friends. Mike was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 730. Mike never missed a football game when his beloved Irish played and being a huge Philly sports fan, he never missed a game on TV. Mike's favorite time of the year was summer. He couldn't wait to remove the cover from the pool, spend time in the evenings on his deck looking at the stars and maintaining his lawn. His greatest joy was knowing that he was going to be a grandfather. 

Nancy A. Good Hoffman, Class of 1960, age 79, of Hummelstown, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Altoona on February 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Eunice R. McCahren Good.
Nancy retired as a contract specialist for the Department of Defense at the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot, then retired as a job coach from Central Dauphin School District. Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Central Dauphin High School.
She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, the Mid-Atlantic Hoddie Red Toddies (Red Hat Society), the Monday Night Women’s League at Red Crown Bowling Lane, and was a former Girl Scout leader in Hershey. Nancy was an avid Hershey Bears Fan, and loved watching her grandson play hockey. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and living life to the fullest.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Carl C. Hoffman, whom she married on November 12, 1960; her daughter, Lisa A. Walk and her fiancé Trace Heckman of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Lindsey Stuckey wife of Robert, Anthony Camasta husband of Sara, and Jason Walk, all of Hummelstown; and two great-grandsons, Nathan and Kyle Stuckey.

David Clark Waltman, Class of 1958, age 80, of Media, Pa passed away on Sunday May 16th.  David was born June 6, 1940 in New Cumberland, Pa to the late Everett C. and Elizabeth Branstetter Waltman.  He was a 1958 graduate of Central Dauphin High School and went on to receive a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University.He took Graduate Engineering courses at Villanova University and earned his PA Professional Engineering License.
David was a veteran of the US Army Corps of Engineers, serving over two years with the HQ 19 General Support Group/ United Nations Command, Seoul, South Korea after gradation from Drexel.  As a civil engineer he worked in several capacities with the US Naval Command for many years.  One of his positions was Director of the Public Works Dept at the U.S. Naval Communication Station, Harold E. Holt, Exmouth, Western Australia.  He retired in 2001.
David served his community in many ways.  He delivered Meals on Wheels, was a member of the Linglestown American Legion Honor Guard, served over 20 years as an usher for the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, was twice president of the Stratford Woods HOA, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and participated in the car line program at his grandsons’ school.
David was a caring, loving and compassionate man, always putting others before himself.  He enjoyed working with his hands and loved to build, design and repair things in his workshop.  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie Brandt Waltman; sons, Steven Brandt Waltman (Angela), Kenneth Clark Waltman; grandsons, Andrew Everett Waltman, and Thomas Brandt Waltman; sisters, Christine Seiler (Jay) and Louise Waltman; many nieces and nephews.

Paul H. (Herb) Weidman, Jr., Class of 1959, age 79, of Lower Paxton Twp., became absent from body and present with the Lord on July 15, 2021. He is survived by his wife Linda A. (Juillard) Weidman and two sons: Timothy Paul of Florida and Thomas Mark of Maryland, and a brother Ross (Nancy) G. Weidman of Lancaster County, as well as many nieces, nephews, beloved family, and friends. He was born November 26, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pa., and is predeceased by his parents Paul H. Weidman, Sr. and Doris M. (Horning) Weidman of Harrisburg. He graduated from Central Dauphin High School. He enlisted in the Pa. Air National Guard serving with the 271st Comm. Squadron and served from 1963 to 1969. He and Linda enjoyed traveling, but spent most of their retired life in Ocean City, MD and celebrated 56 years of marriage. He graduated from the Pa School of Banking in 1967. He retired as Vice-President of the former Commonwealth National Bank in 1988 and became a founding partner of the Pennsylvania State Bank. He retired from that bank in 2004 as the president and continued to serve on the bank's board of directors and as acting president until 2008. Through his work, Herb was active in many professional and community organizations, including serving with the Pa. Bankers Assn., Pa. Community Bankers Assn., the Capital Area Chamber of Commerce, The Big 33 Scholarship Board of Directors, member and past president of Colonial Park Rotary Club, member of Ocean City Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He served Rotary District 7390 as Sec.Treas. Herb is a member of the Calvary Independent Church in Harrisburg where he served as an Elder and was a member of the Fenwick Island Baptist Church, DE. He is a member of the Gideons International and life member of the Wycliff Associates. He served on the state board of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Eastern, Pa. and Harrisburg Youth for Christ for many years.
Greg Diffenderfer, Class of 1990, passed away Friday, July 10, 2021 in Lancaster General Hospital. He was 49 years old. He had diabetes, kidney disease and heart problems. He is survived by wife, Bethany; daughters Allexa Rae and Olivia Virginia. Mother Mrs. Mary Diffenderfer; brother Neil (Tracy) Diffenderfer niece Ava Mauritz and nephew Reed Mauritz. Preceded in death by father Darwin and infant son Benjamin.  Gregory was a loan recovery officer for many years. Gregory was a loving husband and father. He always put his family first.

Susan Jane Kobler Boland, Class of 1984, age 54, of Harrisburg, PA passed away on May 1, 2021 at Harrisburg, PA. Born May 25, 1966, in Harrisburg, PA., daughter of Robert Kobler and Grace Carlson. Susan graduated from Central Dauphin High School and Harrisburg Area Community College with a degree in accounting. She was an EMT with River Rescue for many years before getting married and redirecting her focus. She enjoyed horseback riding, going to the gym with her husband and was an avid reader. She was the Office Manager for her husband's Plastic Surgery practice for over 30 years. She is survived by her loving husband of over 35 years, Dr. Mark S. Boland; son Mark II and his wife Jennifer; son Kyle; grandchildren Madison and Ryan; and many other family members. She now rests in heaven with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Mere words cannot express the loss of my wife, my best friend and the most wonderful blessing that ever happened to me. You are MY GIRL and we will meet again my dear princess and angel!!

Jack E. Edmondson, Class of 1956, age 81, of Harrisburg passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Masonic Village Elizabethtown where he resided for the past year with Rosie, his wife of 62 years. Born March 30, 1938 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Jack E. Edmondson and Fay Herman Edmondson Sollenberger. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Edmondson. Jack enjoyed a long career as a union pipefitter with Local 520, Harrisburg. He was proud to have visited the 48 contiguous states with his wife. Jack enjoyed woodworking and spending time in his home shop. He followed Penn State sports, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Phillies. Jack's greatest pleasure was being outdoors and spending time with his family. After retirement, he volunteered at the West Hanover Historical Society and Antique Automobile Museum. Surviving Jack are his wife, Rosalie Edmondson, daughters Jackolyn Unick and husband Jeff of Hershey, Tami Moyer and husband Les of Key West, Florida, and Rachelle Bimler and husband David of Harrisburg. Jack's grandchildren will continue to celebrate his life, Michael Unick, York, Lauren Unick, Hershey, Thomas Sposito III, Lititz and Lucas Sposito, Pittsburgh. 

Allen B. "Al" Schreiber, Class of 1962, age 74, of Chambersburg, completed his earthly projects, Friday October 26, 2018. Al had been in failing health and passed peacefully in his sleep, at his home.  Born February 7, 1944 at Salina, KS, he was a son of the late Lew and Irene Werth Schreiber.
He was a 1962 graduate of Central Dauphin Sigh School, Harrisburg, and a 1966 graduate of Penn State University with a BS honors degree in business administration. Al worked for a period for Ford Motor Company, Ypsilanti, MI, prior to moving to Chambersburg and joining his family in the operation of the family business, Lewrene Interiors. A decade later he assumed sole ownership and retired from the family business in 1994. Al then explored self-employment options.
Al, at one time, actively supported Corpus Christi Catholic Church and School, of Chambersburg. He also had been active in past Chambersburg Area Chamber of Commerce events and activities. Al and Dixie were members of Family Motor Coach Association and traveled in their RV to all 50 states and extensively in Canada. He enjoyed attending Penn State football games, NASCAR races and his Boxers, whose names started with B. Other interests were fishing, playing cards, and large family gatherings.
Surviving are his wife, Dixie A. Unger Schreiber, whom he married May 5, 2007. Their blended family consisting of Amy (Jim) Bian, Manassas, VA, Karl (Jenny) Schreiber, Greencastle, Hans (Tawnya) Schreiber, Dillsburg, Benjamin (Autumn) Chilcote, Pittsburgh, Bethany (Cameron) Mellott, St. Thomas, eleven grandchildren, Amanda (Tyler) Witman, Kyle Schreiber, Olivia (Sam) Potter, 2nd Lt. Daniel Kinney, Katie Schreiber, Ryan (Courtney) Schreiber, Jonathon Kinney, Alexis Kinney, Mary Schreiber, Andrew Mellott, Hershel Mellott, three great grandchildren, Nicholas Schreiber, Evelyn Witman, and Cooper William Witman, arriving February 2019, two nieces, Meegan and Lindsay Schreiber, and mother in law, Doris Unger of Chambersburg. Al was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Schreiber.

Larry M. Fisher, Class of 1962, age 77, of Hummelstown entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2021, suddenly at his home. He was born on March 1, 1944, in Harrisburg PA and was the son of the late Harold and Yolanda (Garisto) Fisher. Larry was a member of Fountain of Life Ministries and loved cars and being outside. Above all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mollie R. Fisher and his brother Richard Fisher. He is survived by his two children, Kimberly R. Dinger and her husband Joel, of Middletown and Kenny M. Fisher and his wife Courtney of Hummelstown as well as four grandchildren, Morgan, Zackary, Hailey and Allyson. 

Edward "Bucky" Lee Heintzelman, Class of 1981, age 57, of Dauphin, Pennsylvania passed away on June 23, 2021 at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Bucky was born on November 15, 1963 to Donald Heintzelman and the late Joanne Heintzelman in Landstuhl, Germany. Through his life, Edward was known for his love of golfing, hunting, and fishing. He proudly took over the family business almost 40 years ago and was the owner of Bucky's Window Cleaning. He was also an avid Penn State and Steelers Football fan. Most of all, Bucky was a family man who cared deeply for his family and his dogs. Bucky is preceded by his mother Joanne (nee Miller) Heintzelman. He is survived by his wife Jill Heintzelman, his father Donald "Pop" Heintzelman, his children Amy (Michael) Butcher, Carly (Fiancé Frank Heatherington) Buffington, Jacob Medvidovich, Nathan (Preet) Medvidovich, Felicia Medvidovich, and Tessa (Jared) Buffington, his siblings Jamie Heintzelman, John Heintzelman, and Tammy Sconiers, his seven grandson's Franny, Carson, Max, Thomas, Nolan, Mason, and Henry, his step-mother Peg Heintzelman, as well as many other beloved family and friends.

Estelle Mattie (Dykes) Henry, Class of 1962, passed away in June 2021. She was born In Front Royal, Virginia to the late Kenneth Dykes and Mary Emma (Calloway) Dykes. Her formative years were spent in Steelton, Pennsylvania with her siblings, Kenneth Dykes, and the late Edward Lee and Jimmie Dykes. She graduated from Central Dauphin High School. She married the late John L. Henry Jr. and had four sons, Alonzo, Lance, Shawn, and Delon Henry. Estelle worked at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and The Department of Defense in Virginia. She read the Bible passionately and was a member of From the Heart Ministries in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Estelle is a grandmother of nine and great grandmother of eleven. 

G. Suzanne Kingsborough, Class of 1975, age 63, of Paxtang, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Hershey Medical Center. Born January 9, 1958 in Harrisburg; she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Gloria (Jacobs) Reneker. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, David E. Kingsborough; son, Kevin D. Kingsborough; daughter, Julie A. Partridge (Matthew); grandson, Christian N. Nordai; and two brothers, Gary Reneker and Larry Reneker. Suzanne retired from Highmark Blue Shield and was a member of the Harrisburg First Assembly Church. 

Dale W. Hughes, Class of 1962, age 76, of Harrisburg died Sunday, May 30, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.  A Coast Guard Veteran, he was a retired Tractor Trailer Driver from Super Value. He was also a Church Organist for sixty-two years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Mechanicsburg and an avid Penn State, Hershey Bears, and Harrisburg Senators fan.
He was born August 5, 1944 in Harrisburg to the late William H. and Ione (Spece) Hughes. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Randall Hughes and sister-in-law, Marie Hughes.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Elaine Hughes; brother, Timothy Kevin Hughes (Patti) of Mechanicsburg; sister, Kathy Sue Stahl (Mike) of Shiremanstown; sister-in-law, Nancy J. Troutman of Millersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Logan Aidan Lappley, Class of 2011, age 28, passed away on May 14, 2021 after a courageous four and a half year battle with a rare, terminal cancer. The son of Clayton J. Lappley, II and Anne A. Lappley of Lower Paxton Township, Logan was surrounded by those named below as he crossed into eternity. He is survived by his parents, Clayton J. Lappley, II, Anne A. Lappley, brother Liam X. Lappley, and his girlfriend Sindy Hope Weaver, Logan's fiancé Alexandra Mulholland, grandparents Marney R. Lappley, Alfred and Sonya Pelland, Aunt Gwen M. Lappley, Uncle and Aunt Michael and Amy Pelland, as well as five cousins. Logan was a unique and free-spirited man. He was extremely dedicated to those he loved. He fought relentlessly every step of the way and continued to have hope. Logan finally has the peace he deserves. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed each and every day.

Scott J. Rader, Class of 1968, aged 71 years of Dauphin, PA, passed away peacefully on May 12th, 2021.
Born January 6th, 1950 in Harrisburg PA, Scott was the son of Mary Louise Geyer.  Scott served his country honorably for the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He has become a life member of V.F.W. Post 5750 and was a proud active member in the N.R.A., North American Fishing Club, North American Hunting Club, and Veterans of Vietnam War. Scott thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and was known as an outdoors man. He loved to spend time at his camp where he could fish, hunt, and go boating.  Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Geyer.
Surviving is his loving wife of 34 years, Bonnie L. (Stricker) Rader, sons, Scott J. (Sandra) Rader II, Jeffrey (Jenny) Rader, Dan (Cindy) Drawbaugh, and Shane (Penny) Talhelm, daughters, Donna (Bill) Ritter and Michelle Daube, brother, Tim Enders, and sister, Barbie Spini. He was a beloved “Pop Pop” to his 11 grandchildren. He also is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Frank T. Berryman, Jr., Class of 2018, passed away at the tender age of 21 years old on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Frank had many dreams for his future. Even though he left this world far too soon, he left this world and rejoined his mother, Aheshia West-Berryman. He was born to Frank T. Berryman, Sr. and the late Aheshia West-Berryman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and his aspirations and dreams were to one day become an entrepreneur. Frank was well known around his hometown of Harrisburg. He always was willing to give his assistance and opinion, both of which was well received, sometimes not by those he encountered. In his leisure, he enjoyed playing sports, video games and listening to music. Frank was known most for having a heart of gold and a radiant smile. Affectionally known to his family as “Baby Frank”. He is survived by his father, Frank Berryman, Sr.; his siblings: Yolanda, Rickeedah, Frank, Aunwaar, Larry, Tymell and Ashley, and his loving grandmother, Jane West. He will be missed dearly by a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Particularly Bryce, Joel, Saville, Marcus, Tommy, Gavin, Sterling, PJ and Sylas, will definitely feel the void; Frank leaves behind. He will be immeasurably missed by so many.

Christopher G. Engle, Class of 1966, age 72, of Harrisburg, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at UPMC Osteopathic Hospital. Born January 13, 1949 in Harrisburg; he was the son of the late R. Glenn and Phyllis (McCoy) Engle. Surviving is his beloved wife of 51 years, Dorothy McAuliffe Engle; son, Chad C. Engle and daughter, Kara M. Engle and husband Eric Atallah; three grandchildren, Katearie and Marley Engle and Cole Atallah; and brother, Craig Engle and wife Annamarie. He was preceded in death by his brother in law Thomas McAuliffe who was married to Maggie McAuliffe Kirsch. Chris was a graduate of the Class of 1966 at Central Dauphin High School. After graduating high school, he was offered and completed a Machinist Apprenticeship at Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He worked as a machinist at ArcelorMittal for 46 years. He was a member of the United Steelworkers of America Union. Chris was a jack of all trades who loved working with his hands and fixing just about everything. He took much pride in building his own home and maintaining it. He had many hobbies including reading the newspaper, working on crossword puzzles, landscaping his yard, enjoying wildlife and bird watching. One of his greatest joys was coaching his kids' soccer, baseball, and softball teams and watching his kids and grandkids compete. He was the most kind and caring man who was ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. 

Roger D. Fornstrom, Sr., Class of 1966, age 73, of Harrisburg, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital, surrounded by his family and will be forever in our hearts. Roger was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was retired from Dauphin County Prison, where he was a corrections officer. He was a member of the Robert H. Hoke American Legion Post 272 of Linglestown, Dauphin County Fireman's Assoc., Colonial Park Fire Co. and Paxtonia Fire Co., with 25 plus years combined. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and he cherished his time with Roger, Jr. and Tina. Roger is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Carolle A. Fornstrom; his son, Roger D. (Tina) Fornstrom, Jr. of Harrisburg; his mother, Patricia A. O'Marrow of Harrisburg and was predeceased by his father, Ivan E. Fornstrom. 

Rev. Father Robert “Bob” G. Galinac, Class of 1960, age 78, of Beaufort, SC, died Friday, April 30, 2021 at Carter May Home in Charleston, SC.
Fr. Robert was born on July 4, 1942 in Harrisburg, PA. He entered the Franciscan Order in 1959 at Lake Geneva, WI. He completed his studies at West Chicago, IL where on Dec 22, 1969 he became a priest. After his ordination he was sent to St. Francis Friary in Gulf Breeze, FL where he assisted in the pastoral duties at the nearby Air Force Bases. In 1971 he was assigned as assistant pastor at St. Anthony's Parish in Sharon, PA. That same year he went to Wheaton, IL, where he taught at St. Francis High School.  In  1974 he was assigned to Our Lady of Peace Friary in Beaver Falls, PA, where he again taught at Quigley High School until 1978. He was so loved that the school named the award after him: “Fr. Galinac’s award for Catholic service  and Ministry”.  He then served as assistant pastor of Sacred Heart in Milwaukee, WI (1986-1987). He then was assigned as pastor at St. Anthony's in Sharon (1987-1989), Holy Trinity in Ambridge (1989-1994) and St. Joseph's in Bethlehem (1994-1997). For 2 years he was in chaplaincy work at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC (1997-1998). He served as pastor at St. Augustine's in West Allis from 1999-2000. He served at Franciscan Custodial Board as counselor (1985-1988).  From 2002 to 2007, he served as assistant pastor at St. Joseph parish in St. Louis. Then he moved to South Carolina where he worked as chaplain for US Marines at Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, SC. At the time he stayed at St. Peter’s church serving the community he loved very much.  
Fr. Galinac will be buried at Holy Sepulchre cemetery in Chicago among his Croatian Franciscan brothers.

Kenneth Samuel Deaven, Class of 1971, age 67, of Hummelstown, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2021.  He was born September 9, 1953 in Harrisburg, son of the late Stanley and Lillian Deaven.  Kenneth graduated from Dauphin County Vo-Tech and had owned and operated Ken Deaven Fuel Oil.
Kenneth is survived by his children; Mark and Michelle Deaven and his brother, Glenn, sister-in-law Shari, niece Janetta and grand-nephew and niece Michael and Evie, along with several cousins and close friends.
Ken was an avid life-long Pittsburgh Steelers fanatic. He also enjoyed golfing and walking the nature trails in Hummelstown. Ken was a friendly guy who would not hesitate to help anyone in need. He will truly be missed by all who loved him. 

Terry Austin Fleegal, Class of 1964, age 74, of West Hanover Twp., died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home. Terry was born in Harrisburg and was the son of the late Leo and Hilda Fleegal. He was retired from IFR Furniture, where he was general manager. He was a decorated veteran of the Army National Guard, an avid shooter and past president of the Blue Ridge Sportsman's Club and an owner & lover of classic cars. He was a neighborhood handyman and friend and above all else, loving husband, caring father and dedicated grandfather. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Terry was predeceased by his brother, Tim L. Fleegal. Terry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anita L. M. Kenneth Baylor, Class of 1958, age 81, of Chambers Hill, died Saturday, April 10, 2021 in UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp. He was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, attended Harrisburg Area Community College, and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired Trust Administrator for the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Assn. and a former Trust Officer at Commonwealth National Bank, Mellon Bank, and Citizens Bank. He was a member of Neidig Memorial United Methodist Church, Oberlin and was an avid Penn State and Phillies fan and enjoyed muzzleloading and hunting at the cabin. Ken was the son of the late Milton R. and Lena VanGilder Baylor and is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sandy E. Evans Baylor; two daughters, Denise Ashley Baylor (Timothy Riley) of Cape Canaveral, FL and Karin Elizabeth Baylor Bossler and husband, Travis of Harrisburg; one brother, Terry Baylor of Palmyra; one sister, Kathleen Baylor of Harrisburg; and one grandson, Kole Matthew Bossler. 

Samuel B. Mummert, Class of 1960, age 79 of Harrisburg, died Friday, March 26, 2021.  Samuel was born in Harrisburg and was the son of the late Samuel and Florence Mummert. He was the retired owner/operator of Samuel B. Mummert Plumbing. He was a 1960 graduate of Central Dauphin High School and was active with the alumni assn. He was a member of Colonial Park Fire Co., Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church and it's property committee. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a veteran of the US Navy.  Samuel is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen N. Mummert; his daughters, Shari Iannelli of Reading, Danelle (Jeff) Davis and Leann (Dino) Magaro, both of Harrisburg; his sons, Samuel A. Mummert of Carlisle, Glenn (Dian) Lehman, Sr of Harrisburg and Keith (Karen) Lehman of Halifax; nineteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; his sister, Kathy (Lee) Weishan of Middletown; several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Kessler, Class of 2004, age 35, of Harrisburg, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Born on February 17, 1986 in Harrisburg to Eric P. and Kristy (Snyder) Kessler. She attended HACC and Kutztown University. She was employed by D&H Distributors, as a sales representative, an occupation and company that she loved. She was a member of Temple Ohev Sholom, Harrisburg, PA. Liz greatly enjoyed traveling with her family all across the world, cruising and the family beach home in Rehoboth Beach. She loved her family very much, especially her 2 nieces, Ellie, Addie and her nephew, Colton. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Stephen Kessler and his wife, Ashleigh, 2 nieces, Ellie, Addie, nephew, Colton, 2 aunts, Sharon Voss and her husband, Ernst of Israel, Lisa Picker and her husband, Jon of Philadelphia, uncle, Robert Snyder and his wife, Diane of Harrisburg, cousins, Nina Voss, Eytan Voss, Eliana Voss, Noa Voss all of Israel, Daniel Picker, Ben Picker of Philadelphia, Nikki Snyder and Jaimie Snyder of Harrisburg. Liz also had many close friends that she loved dearly.

Michael W. Lindsey, Class of 1974, age 64, Duncannon, passed away December 20, 2020 at home. Following a seven year valiant battle with cancer, Mike, went home to be with his Lord and Savior.  Born March 2, 1956 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Walter W. Lindsey and Grace (Schell) Lindsey and was a 1974 graduate of Central Dauphin High School.  In 1976 he joined the US Navy and served in Alaska with the Crash Fire Rescue. Retiring early from the New Cumberland Army Depot, Mike was a very hard worker and was always willing to take on new tasks. He worked for the Department of Defense for 25 years as a boiler plant operator apprentice, forklift operator, and many other roles.  Mike loved talking about Jesus! He was a member of Christ Community Church in Camp Hill, where he drove the van transporting college students. Mike also volunteered many other places; at the Resting Place in Harrisburg, as Santa in multiple events, and at the Navy Depot Children’s Christmas parties.
He was an avid fan of most of the Pennsylvania teams: Penn State, Eagles and Philllies. His spare time was spent dancing, driving his Mustang, making candy, cooking, playing with his two puppies and hunting with friends and family. Mostly, he loved traveling with his wife, especially to Aruba, and just spending time with his beloved family.  Surviving is his loving wife of 22 years, Denise J. (Calhoun) Lindsey; two step-daughters: Heather Music-Franczak (and Jared Franczak), Choctaw, OK and Ashley Music-Torres (and Randy Torres), Duncannon; one sister: Karen Lindsey Middleton, Toccoa, GA; one brother: James A. Lindsey (and Marge H. Tees Lindsey), Dillsburg; and his dearly loved granddaughters: Makenna and Amaya.

Stefan R. Morin, Class of 1993, age 46 of Harrisburg, died Saturday, March 21, 2021. Stefan was born in Harrisburg and was the son of Rejean Morin and Judy Potteiger. He was a tech with Lumen. He was a member of Holy Rosary Knights of Columbus Council# 869 and the Robert H. Hoke American Legion Post 272 of Linglestown. He was a veteran of US Marine Corps. Stefan is survived by in addition to his parents, his wife of 20 years, Melanie Morin; his daughter, Emma Jean Morin; his sons, Avery Stefan Morin and Brock Rejean Morin; his step-sister, Heather Andy; his aunt, Sheree and uncle Paul Potteiger; several cousins, niece and nephews. 


Gary L. Shomper, Class of 1969, age 69, of Highspire, Pennsylvania, passed away with family by his side on March 19, 2021 at the Middletown Home. Gary was born on January 20, 1952 to the late Elmer F. and Esther Shomper. In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his eldest brother, Richard Shomper, formerly of Huber Heights, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Mary "Lulu" Shomper, his son, Tony Shomper of Harrisburg, a brother, Stuart Shomper of Colonial Park, and many nieces and nephews from Pennsylvania and Ohio. Gary retired from PennDot after 30 years and always enjoyed meeting new people and making everyone he was around feel like family. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Phillies and liked fishing and going up to his camp in Snyder County during the warmer months of the year. He was also a former member of the Keystone Capital Chorus of Harrisburg, loved traveling to competitions, and singing in his church choir. Gary was a kind and loving father, husband and friend, and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Brigitte M.  Schmeckenbecher Zeigler, Class of 1957, age 81, of Dark Woods Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Hershey Medical Center. Born on July 11, 1939 in Plankstadt Germany, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Emma Fackel Schmeckenbecher. She resided in Germany until she was 11 years old and then lived on the Island of Saipan until she was 16. She was a 1957 graduate of Central Dauphin High School and took secretarial classes at HACC. She married Robert H. Zeigler in February of 1960. Brigitte was a secretary for Halls Motor Transit in Mechanicsburg for 15 years, was a nurses aide at Bridgewater Senior Center in Pine Grove for 2 years, was the director of marketing/ kitchen at Twin Grove Park Campground for 2 years, managed the snack bar at the Pine Grove Community Swimming Pool for 4 years, and was a secretary in charge of payroll for Manor Care/Lakewood Apts. in Harrisburg for 6 years. Brigitte and Bob took their passion for bowling and desire to have their own business and purchased Pine Lanes Bowling Alley, Pine Grove in 1983, which they owned and operated for 23 years. The bowling youth program that Brigitte and Shirley Schaeffer headed, was recognized as one of the best in the state with over 150 children enrolled at its peak. Bob and Brigitte also turned a 40 seat lounge into a 500 person night club where local bands performed. She was fluent in three languages, German, Chamoin and English, and enjoyed sculpting, bowling, crossword puzzles and took a lot of pride in her gardening and maintaining her yard. Preceding her in death were her husband of 49 years, Robert H. Zeigler, Sr.; a son, Karl Zeigler; a sister Martha and husband Herbert Bertsch; a step brother Heine Fackel. Surviving are her son Robert Jr. and wife Maureen Zeigler of Newport, RI; daughter Heidi and husband David Maidenford of Pine Grove; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren.

Donald R. Gutshall, retired CDHS Faculty member, age 89, of Harrisburg Pennsylvania passed away early in the morning on March 17, 2021. Donald was born in Huntingdon, Pa to Royer and Mildred (Johnson) Gutshall on November 27, 1931. As a young adult, he served in the U.S. Army and then went on to earn his master's degree in education. He spent a majority of his career as a teacher with the Central Dauphin School District. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Free Masons Mount Moriah Lodge No. 300, the Standing Stone Royal Arch Chapter No. 201, the Zembo Shriners, the Knights Templar Commandery No. 65, the VFW post 1754 life member, and the AACA Hershey Chapter. Donald was known for his love of hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and golfing. Donald is preceded by his parents Royer and Mildred Gutshall. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Donna Gutshall, his daughters Kathi (Mark) Geiser and Lisa (Holly) Evans, his grandchildren Staci (Mathew) Rhoades, Rachel (Justin) Garber, Chas (Patty) Evans, Beth Evans and her fiancé Robbie Baker, and his great-grandchildren Jayd Parker Rhoades and Lily Joan Evans.

Patricia "Pat" Ann Mullen Seibert, Class of 1959, age 79, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. She was a member of the Eastern Star and York Rite Ladies. Pat was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, Mom, Cymaw, and she adored her animal babies dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 wonderful years, Harry "Cy" Seibert; her parents Melvin and Faye Mullen and her brothers, William and Kenneth Mullen. Pat leaves to cherish her memories her children, David (Kathy) Seibert, Cindy (Mark) Jarman, and Mike (Carole) Seibert; siblings, Melvin (Thelma) Mullen, Jr., Evelyn (Larry) Putt; grandchildren, Luke (Kayla) Seibert, Sean Seibert, Jared (Casey) DeBlaker, Cassidy Seibert, Zack Seibert, Erin DeBlaker, Caitlin Seibert, and Harry Seibert; great grandchildren, Ashton Seibert, Amelia Seibert, and Andrew DeBlaker. 

George J. Wagner, Class of 1971, age 61, of Hummelstown, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.  
He was born October 23, 1953 in Ashland, Pa. to Isabelle and the late George Wagner. He graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1971. George then served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War where, he was a Missile System Maintenance Specialist.  He loved NASCAR, the outdoors, but mostly, his grandchildren and his 3 sons. He will be remembered as, always being their when you needed him and was willing to help with anything.
George is survived by his sons mother, Joanne Wagner, and his three sons, Randall and his wife, Brittany. Also, Robert and his wife Maggie, and Joseph Wagner as well as his grandchildren Ethan, Kylie Ann, Chase, and soon to be born grandson.  He leaves behind his mother Isabelle Wagner, brother Leonard and his family, and brother, Randolph. Also surviving are his sisters, Chris Mason and her family, and Judy Fesemyer and family, and neice Kimberly Miller and her family.  Preceding in death by his father, George James Wagner, and sister Sandra Pappas.

Terry Thomas Neiss, Class of 1971, age 69, of West Hanover Township passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020, in the Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg. Born in Ono on July 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Thomas Neiss and Betty Schaffer Chellew. Terry retired after 42 years as a ride mechanic and licensed Pennsylvania State Ride Inspector for Hershey Park. He graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1971. A very athletic person, Terry was a talented baseball player in his younger years. He was an avid Hershey Bears ice hockey fan; and found great pleasure going to flea markets and Farmer’s Markets, and taking bus trips to New York City. Terry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Colleen J. Donnelly Neiss, whom he married on July 29, 1989; two sons, Travis and Brandon; his step-children, David Nardis husband of Jennifer of Etters, and Dawn Alimonti wife of Michael of Bristol; two grandchildren, Kaleigh Neiss and Wyatt Nardis; two sisters, Penny Rameriz wife of Phil Ravese of Bradenton, FL, and Patty Shambaugh wife of Duane of Halifax; and his two beloved pets, Ozzie and Sebastian.

Thomas Woodworth, Class of 1971, passed away after a 3 year battle with Multiple Myeloma on August 22, 2018 in Green Valley Arizona with his loving wife Sally and step-children by his side.   Tom was born on August 5, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA to Carl and Jeanne Woodworth.  He grew up and attended school in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, PA and graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1971.  After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served until 1979.   During his time in the Navy he served on the USS Seattle, U.S. Naval Aviation Weapons Facility in Cornwall England; the U.S. Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, CA and the USS Ponce.   Following his Naval service, he earned a BS in Accounting from Penn State in 1983 and in 1988 an MBA from Golden Gate University in Arizona.   Tom moved to Arizona and worked as an accountant for Phelps Dodge Mercantile in Douglas, Arizona from January 1984 – November 1988.   He then worked as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for Arizona Family Care Associates in Sierra Vista, AZ.   In 2004 he accepted a position as Chief Financial Officer for United Community Health Center in Green Valley, AZ where he worked until illness forced his retirement in November 2017. 
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and step daughter, Lisa Speer.   He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sally (Kimble) Woodworth; brothers William and Richard (Donna) Woodworth of PA; two step-children Richard (Kristi) Smith of Tucson, AZ and Robyn (David) Escarcega of Douglas, AZ.  He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, two of which he and Sally raised as their own, and 3 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews and in-laws.
Tom was a loving and generous husband, step-father, grandfather and friend.  He was also a dedicated employee, loved and highly respected by his co-workers and employees and made every effort to treat them fairly.  He took pleasure in providing working lunch meals for his employees as well as surprising them with silly, fun gifts.  He had quite a sense of humor. Tom felt very blessed in life and was generous in giving to the less fortunate
